HOW CAN MACC SERVE?
We have some exciting news and would love your support of our new program! After hearing an overwhelming need to connect Christian Mental Health Professionals with area pastors, MACC will be creating a Pastoral Support Program! At MACC, the goal and mission is to provide Christian Mental Health Professionals with Biblically relevant training, connections, and support; to encourage unity and collaboration; and to develop a kingdom mindset that will positively impact our field for God’s glory. We feel that this new Pastoral Support Program fits so well with our mission and serving in the name of God’s glory! It will yield wonderful fellowship opportunities, connections and new ways to serve!
With eyes to see and ears to hear, we have opened our hearts to how valuable it is for pastors to have resources, trainings and connections to mental health professionals. They are overwhelmed with all the needs and feel ill-equipped to offer what people are looking for within their congregations and ministries. At MACC, we want to be able to provide support to them.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
To that end, we desire to build up a database of pastors to whom we could then offer these opportunities. You can help by passing along this information, or filling out an online form to submit names and contact information of pastors who are known to you. It is our hope that this collaboration can be a powerful one for pastors and their church communities and ultimately people who end up being referred to one of us. Please share the names of your pastors and family or friends who are pastors. We are also open to ideas of how to support them. So, any feedback you have would be welcomed. You can have your pastor included in our prayers and support by adding them at this simple online form.
