About us: The Center for Hope and Healing is a group practice with a Christian perspective. We are a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals providing counseling services with integrity and excellence to children, adolescents, adults and families. We strongly believe the deepest healing comes from treating the whole person, body, mind and spirit.

Position: Front Desk Reception and Administrative Lead (with room for advancement)

Position Goal: To provide accurate, articulate and empathetic, administrative support to staff and clients.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment
  • Open (or close) by preparing the clinic for hours of operation
  • Accurately collect and enter patient information into electronic medical record (may include verifying client’s insurance)
  • Understand and follow HIPPA requirements
  • Greet patients at the front desk
  • Collect copay/deductible at the time of check-in
  • Able to explain to explanation of benefits to clients
  • Oversee client paperwork and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and ancillary services at the check-out counter
  • Maintain accuracy of patient account – includes applying co-pay/deductible payments
  • Work collaboratively with the staff
  • Continuously improve work processes, environment, and overall experience to serve patients and meet clinic goals
  • Complete other duties assigned by management

  • Ability to maintain a calm presence with clients who may be stressed

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Additional training preferred.

Experience: Ideal candidate would be comfortable using software such as Office 365 and familiar with electronic medical records, for appointment scheduling and communication. Experience working with electronic medical records and knowledge of HIPPA preferred. 

Special Qualifications: Must be able to multitask and work independently. Ideal candidate will be a professional, customer service-oriented individual who communicates well with a diverse client population. Attention to detail and great people skills required for success in this position.

Hours: 35-40/week

Pay range - $16 - $20 depending on qualifications and experience
