Daphne DeMaris, MA, LPC, LPCC
Daphne always wondered what she would do when she grew up. She wondered if the painful things that happened in her life would ever make sense. And then she met The Lord and He began to set her free – redeeming all the wounds. Soon it became clear that she was called to help set other captives free.
In 1998, Daphne graduated from Ashland Seminary with a degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling, but it wasn’t until she began working with clients that she truly learned how to minister God’s truth in healing ways. She has been doing this ever since. She works in her private practice, Radiant Health Resources. It is Daphne’s absolute passion to help people build their intimacy with our Creator King through her counseling ministry and as an event and retreat speaker.
Daphne is licensed in Michigan as well as Minnesota and is a Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor. She worked with the MACC Board in 2016 on the conference committee and joined the Board formally, in October of 2018.

Jann Fredrickson Ramus
I was born in an early age in a land far, far away. Iowa, to be exact. I lived there for 22 years and then did graduate work in the Land of Lincoln, Illinois. I met and married my dearest and we made a bold move to California, land of the left coast where I did further graduate work. We then made the move to the Tundra where we have lived ever since raising our family and generally having great fun even when we have snow in our ears.
I have been an LICSW for so long, my certificate hasn’t turned yellow but instead looks rather gray around the edges. I have served on numerous boards, taught in the Graduate School of Education at St. Mary’s University, did training for two national organizations, and have been in private practice for nearly twenty years. I’ve had so many adventures as a Christian doing Counseling that I find my work both challenging and fun. I am constantly learning and researching. My great loves are teaching and doing Workshops.
My specialty is Trauma and I also do marriage, family and individual counseling. I especially like working with PTSD. I use three different therapies with sometimes astonishing results: EMDR, Emotional Freedom Therapy and Interactive Imagery.
My Faith is not what I do in the context of Counseling others; it is who I am. I cannot help but share “the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you.” What a gift that God has given me in my profession.
