Immanuel Approach Training Speakers
Rev. Mark Hattendorf, Ph.D.
Dr. Mark Hattendorf has studied and utilized several inner healing models since working on a masters degree in 1984. In 2002 Mark joined the Lehman Mentoring group while the group was exploring effects of infusing joy-based, attunement centered, methodologies into the Theophostic approach. The results of this 10 year process of group exploration were the discovery of the Immanuel Process for Emotional Healing, founded by Dr. Karl Lehman. During the exploration, Mark documented the evolution of inner healing in a Narrative Case Study Dissertation at Regent University school of Psychology and Counseling which specifically identified the salient factors necessary for successful healing sessions.Currently Mark leads missions’ trips into highly traumatized populations worldwide, trains groups in the process of emotional healing, works in a private practice – and – tries to get on wild and remote rivers to run kayak expeditions. When Mark preaches at his home church in Glen Ellyn Illinois, and at others, he tries to keep in mind the words of Abraham Lincoln when he said, “When I hear a man preach, I like to see him act as if he were fighting bees”.
